George Floyd was honored Wednesday–the second anniversary of his murder–with prayer, a water ritual, and a street sign commemorating his memory. Hundreds gathered for the somber memorial.

George Floyd’s family members, friends, and community members gathered at 38th Street and Chicago Avenue Wednesday to remember Floyd on the second-anniversary of his murder. A new street sign was unveiled naming the intersection, where Minneapolis police killed Floyd, as “George Perry Floyd Square.”
