Minneapolis mayoral candidate Kate Knuth releases detailed immigration policy plan.

With less than a week to go until Election Day, Knuth says she would prioritize immigrant rights by fortifying Minneapolis’ “sanctuary city” policies. Her administration would also push for a “Minneapolis Dream Act” to support some undocumented residents. Candidates Sheila Nezhad and AJ Awed criticized elements of Knuth’s plan and proposed other pro-immigrant initiatives.
