More than one million Muslims from around the world are in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, to perform the annual Hajj pilgrimage, one of the five pillars of Islam.
The pilgrimage is the largest annual gathering in the world. During the course of the Hajj, pilgrims make a lot supplications, prayers and ask Allah for forgiveness.
Every able-bodied Muslim who can afford the expenses must perform the pilgrimage once in a lifetime.
