Dear ‎tribe,

I used to hear your name when I was little, spoken in hateful tongue and bitter hearts.

Though I grew up to love and cherish mankind with warmth, you were always left out in the cold, alone. I was eager to open the door and offer you something warm, a biscuit perhaps, or a hug to warm your soul. But I was afraid.

I heard bad things about you. How you terrorized and killed many people.

Though you seem harmless now, they fear history will be forgotten and your crimes forgiven. So, they locked me in here and you out there.

You see,

…unwilling to break the door, will only cause us to hate behind these thin walls.

So please help me, as I break the barrier between us.
